15 & 22 November 2011 — Aspektism for Kids Course - DVLC
The Aspektism for Kids course is running again for the 2nd time at Diamond Valley Learning Centre Cnr of St Helena & Diamond Creek Roads Greensborough.
Time: 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm
Session 1 includes: Comprehension/Sensory Issues.
Session 2 includes: Social Skills/Choices for Life

3 November 2011 — Arabri Neighbourhood House - Bayswater
Kerryn will present on social/communication/anxiety/special interests in children with ASD/AS to the community of Bayswater. There will also be strategies provided in how to deal with obsessions in children/teenagers/adults with ASD/AS.
16 August 2011 — Altona Mental Health Network - Altona
Kerryn is presenting to clinicians of this network "What is Asperger's Syndrome", and providing strategies for supporting their clients/patients with ASD/AS.
2 August 2011 — Lantern Well Being Series - Cheltenham
Kerryn presented to the community of Cheltenham, her own life story and social/communication strategies for children/teens/adults with ASD/AS.

Kerryn is going to speak to teachers/integration aides/parents/carers/ on social/anxiety/communication/special interests & provide strategies for parents at home to cope better with their children.
25 May 2011 — Employment Workshop (Workism for Parents/Carers) - Bairnsdale
Kerryn will run an employment workshop for parents/carers/employment consultants from the Workism Parents/Carers course.
This workshop outlines the following:
Dealing with Centrelink, Going for a job interview, Disclosure of disability, Teamwork and taking instruction, Conflict in the workplace, Job hunting & the person with ASD, Making lunch for work, and Tips for successful employment.

Kerryn/KTalk is going to speak to a group of parents/carers on her life story of living with Asperger';s Syndrome.
8 June 2010 — Mowbray College
Kerryn/KTalk is going to talk to Year 7 and 8 students at the school about the issues of bullying other children with ASD/AS at the school and provide strategies on how to deal with the bullies effectively. She will also give an account of how she was bullied in school, the things that happened to her then, and how she deals with people who bully her now.

Kerryn/KTalk is providing another training session to Integration Aides of the school on Kerryns life story at school, Diagnosis and what happened from there, Linking Action with Consequence, and social skills for students.

and building independence for life.
5 May 2010 — Morrisons Education Centre
Kerryn is going to speak to students/tutors in a disability course on how Autism has affected her, and how she overcame these life issues, and where she is with her life now.
21 22 April 2010 — Woodend Primary School High St WOODEND
Kerryn provided 2 Autism Awareness educational sessions Woodend PS. One for parents/carers/teachers of the school, and the other for 240 kids where there are other students with Autism or Asperger';s Syndrome in the school. Kerryn will speak in both sessions about the struggles she endured at both primary and secondary school, and the events that happened in that time.
Kerryn has received very positive feedback about her training sessions from both parents/carers/teachers/intergration aides and now children. The children were very enlightened with their session/s on Asperger';s Syndrome &; Autism Awareness during this time.
Kerryn is going to be welcomed again next year and in the future. Kerryn will also attend a principals convention in Melbourne in 2011.
