Kerryn specialises with Teenagers and Adults on the Autism Spectrum. However, it should be noted that Kerryn is expanding her horizons and business even further to include working with children now as well as both teenagers/adults/parents/carers/teachers/support workers & Integration Aides.
How much does it cost for Kerryn to come and talk to our school/group?"
The usual fee is $80 for consumer and support groups, and $150 for schools, agencies and other funded services. This covers a two-hour session.
Fees are higher outside the Melbourne CBD for travel/accommodation costs.
Driving outside the CBD for presentations is $30 per hour.
Interstate & International Fees
Fees are based and charged for travel on flights, accommodation and training/question session times.
Do you have a current Working with Children Check to work with children in schools?"
Yes! Kerryn certainly has a working with children check as this was required for one of her previous jobs as a school crossing supervisor working for her local council.
What equipment needs to be provided for Kerryn when she speaks?"
A Laptop and Data Projector will need to be provided for training sessions if necessary and if possible.
How do you have the knowledge and expertise of Asperger's Syndrome/Autism Spectrum Disorders?"
I was born with Asperger's Syndrome and have lived with it my entire life, therefore, able to teach/train/educate from my own life's experiences of living with the disorder from day to day.
How often will the Aspektism/Workism Course run during the year?"
Kerryn is dedicated to run these courses 3 - 4 times a year depending on availability at the present time. However, it should be noted that sometimes this is not at all possible in unforseen circumstances.
